Job Summary

• The following Professional Qualifications and Certifications are mandatory and should be met
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security Qualified (or Equivalent Experience).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP)
• Cisco Network Admission Control Specialist (NAC)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) will be added value.

Other Requirements

• Good knowledge and expertise of IPsec and Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• Full understanding of variety of switches, routers, firewalls, Servers, OS (Win and/or UNIX,) Active Directories, Cisco and TCP/IP.
• Experience on Security Event Monitoring and other auditing
• Well versed with authentication, authorization mechanisms and security systems.
• Good knowledge and Intensive experience of Cisco equipment Security support systems.
• Experience with Cisco IPS, Cisco Secure Access Control Server, NAC and Microsoft NAP.
• Good experience in HP Openview, Cisco Works (LMS and VMS), Cisco Security Manager (CSM).
• Experiencing with Monitoring Tools, Sniffer and network analysis tools.

Job description

Troubleshooting security issues and coordinates with Network architect while planning the new strategy, upgrading security devices: Routers, Switches, Firewalls/IDS/IPS, IPSec/SSL, VPN, Load Balancers and Wireless.

Skills

• Providing Network Security Best Practices, Advanced Network Implementation and Troubleshooting.
• Network Security Planning, Design, and Implementation.
• Maintain latest knowledge of developments, innovations and expertise in their core technical competencies.
• Configuring and troubleshooting Giga network, ATM, E1, ISDN, MPLS, security policies, able to Multi task and work independently.
• Maintaining the utmost security and generating weekly reports highlighting as Firewall Zonal report (IN-OUT & DMZ).
• Monitors and analyzes problems that occur, ensuring that problems are identified and solved as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
• Evaluates new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more cost effective.
• Adjusts Network capacity and performance configurations based on capacity management and security recommendations.
• Ensures detection of alerts from the Network infrastructure. Participates in production and user acceptance tests.
• Development and improvement of security policies upon Superintendent’s recommendations.
• Deployment and implementation of security policies as and when instructed after the approval from the Company.
• Proactively monitoring and analyzing security problems that occur, ensuring that problems are identified and solved as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
• Root cause analysis for the security alerts and effective remedial actions.
• Correlation of alerts and events from different devices on the network and fine tuning of signatures and policies.
