Job Summary
GEMS World Academy (Singapore) is seeking a dynamic, experienced and flexible Primary Years EAL Teacher to join our team, to support the growing population of students from non-English backgrounds.
This is an exciting opportunity due to increased enrolment. Preference will be given to teachers who have ‘push-in model’ EAL experience in an international school setting and are looking for an opportunity to help implement a coherent EAL program at a highly aspirational school.
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university or college with teaching emphasis or completion of an accredited Teacher preparation programme
- Teacher professional certification specific to the applied position
- Minimum of two full contract teaching years’ EAL experience at the appointed hire level
- Preference will be given to teachers who have both IB and WIDA experience, as well as a clear track record of superior teaching in International school settings
