I am a recent graduate, and I could not be more grateful to the staff at Bristol, which made my first class degree possible. During my three years, I had support, encouragement, feedback and everything I needed to succeed. The teaching approach, makes learning effortless. My advice to all students coming to Bristol: trust your lecturers, do not miss tutorials because you are not prepared- go anyway, and ask for help when you want it, all professors are really nice, even the mean ones.
Overall, thank you Bristol, its been unforgettable.

Very good at the academic stuff but there's work to be done on the whole student experience. Students' Union is very weak and practically invisible. All the campus cafés are quite expensive because it's in a posh part of town. Teaching staff were generally a lovely, helpful and fun bunch.
They are beginning to make moves towards becoming more modern in their approaches to ICT and alternative assessment. Did a Masters in English Lit, which was very enjoyable.

Horrible place, really bad structure couldn't find anything surprising anyone can learn here. Student Union was pretty much non existent. However lecturers were lovely and helpful.

Great University! Very Challenging
My one year studying in the University of Bristol was an awesome one. I really enjoyed my time here. I learned so many new ideas and gained a lot of new friends. A majority of teachers and students are friendly and approachable. You can be sure that you are learning from the people who spent a great amount of time researching and studying on the things they teach. However, I must say that many facilities are quite old, and I found the libraries unresourceful. Many computers took ages to load and there are not many spaces for you to study. Although, there are many student clubs and organizations, the Student Union is so far away from many student accommodation, making it a little inconvenient to commute. Take note that I graduated in 2011 and this might have already changed.
Bristol, itself, is a small and vibrant city. There are ton of things to do apart from studying and preparing for exams. So many restaurants, pubs and bars. Totally in love with the city!!!
