Spirits soared and celebrations echoed across CISCE-affiliated schools in the UAE as institutions reported outstanding results in the ICSE (Grade 10) and ISC (Grade 12) board exams, with all schools achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.
The results, released on Wednesday, were met with jubilation by students, teachers and parents alike.
GEMS Modern Academy Principal Nargish Khambatta, Senior Vice President – Education at GEMS Education, proudly shared the performance of this year’s cohort. She said, “This year’s ISC cohort of 144 students — our spirited Class of Ganbatte — has delivered an exceptional performance, with a proud batch average of 90.9 per cent. Their results are more than numbers; they are stories of resilience, hard work, and quiet determination, each adding to Modern’s legacy of excellence.”
“Our ICSE students have made us equally proud. With 300 students achieving a strong batch average of 88.6 per cent, they have demonstrated that success is born from consistency, courage, and community support. Today, we simply celebrate with hearts full of joy, gratitude, and pride.”
Among the ISC toppers at GEMS Modern Academy was Gayathri Ranjit Menon, who will be pursuing Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
“A little progress each day adds up to big results. This mantra helped me work consistently throughout the weeks of preparation for the board exams. I would like to sincerely thank my family, friends, and all my amazing teachers for constantly pushing me to excel,” she said.
ICSE topper Tanush Nayan Shenai added, “I am extremely grateful to my school, teachers, parents, and God for their constant support and guidance. They have truly inspired me to pursue excellence in academics and strive towards my future journey as an aspiring engineer-entrepreneur and, most importantly, as a better human being.”
Ambassador School also celebrated stellar results. ICSE student Nirvaan Desai topped the Grade 10 batch with an outstanding score of 98.4 per cent, followed closely by Vinaya Bhate at 98.2 per cent. A remarkable 70 percent of students scored above 90 percent, while 24 students emerged as UAE subject toppers. The school recorded an overall average of 89.49 per cent, significantly higher than last year.
An ecstatic Nirvaan said, “It is an electrifying moment. My disciplined preparation all along, together with the guidance of my teachers and parents, has helped me achieve the target.”
In ISC, Antara Bhat led with 97.5 per cent, followed closely by Subhodeep Choudhury with 97.25 percent. Antara, who has been with the school for 14 years and is now set to pursue Corporate Law, said: “I am happy that my hard work has paid off.” She credited her success to the school’s teaching faculty, noting with pride, “I did not require any external coaching.”
Subhodeep, who plans to study Economics at the University of Amsterdam, has also received offers from the University of Manchester and Bristol University.
Ambassador School Principal Sheela Menon lauded the students’ dedication. She said, “This success is truly owned by our dedicated students who, with their focus and rigour, have done us all proud. Special mention about the achievement of our students of determination who have proven their aptitude with grit. I appreciate the continued commitment of our devoted teachers and parent community in this commendable feat.”
At JSS International School, records were broken with Aayush Jethaliya securing the ISC top score of 98.5 per cent, followed closely by Armaan Aravazhi with 98.25 per cent. In the ICSE board, Amal Amzath Ali topped with 98.2 per cent, trailed closely by Navya Parashar with 98 per cent.
Principal Lata Nakra said, “What is heartwarming and encouraging is the great progress made by our students with diverse needs. As we celebrate these achievements, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to excellence in education, holistic development, and the shaping of future-ready compassionate global citizens.”
