Job Summary

An opportunity exists for an Anatomist to join our team in Anatomy and Pathology who will be teaching into undergraduate and postgraduate courses and be involved in multi-disciplinary research.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have had a significant role in research projects including grant funding, publication and project management and that you have a strong background and experience in teaching and undertaking course and program coordination.

To be successful you will need:

• A PhD in anatomy or directly related field
• Experience in the preparation and delivery of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and clinical sessions in gross human anatomy across multiple body regions, using human cadavers and multimodal anatomy teaching resources
• Extensive experience in course and program coordination, curriculum design and implementation
• Experience in the supervision of honours and/or postgraduate research projects and students
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading major research projects and research teams with success at obtaining external grant funding
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across disciplines and collaborate with industry
