Our Institute of Education programmes cover the spectrum of general education, professional preparation and continuing education pathways in Education. We are now seeking to appoint a dynamic Clinical Educator to contribute to our Primary Initial Teacher Education programme, particularly with regards to practicum. You will have appropriate qualifications, experience and expertise to organise, supervise and teach, with particular responsibility for clinical placements/practicum.

You will possess a relevant postgraduate degree, have recent teaching experience in Aotearoa NZ, have some experience and understanding of Initial Teacher Education and the schooling sector, and evidence an awareness of the critical importance of quality practica experiences for student teachers. Current registration as a teacher with the New Zealand Education Council is essential.
