The Department of Sociology invites applications for one 50% non-regular type 2 (one-year, part-time, temporary) faculty position. Successful candidates will have the ability to teach first-year introductory Sociology (SOCI 1125 – Introduction to Society: Processes and Structures) and teach SOCI 2240: Women in Canada.
Successful candidates will provide strong evidence of excellence in teaching, with a track record of quality teaching at the post-secondary level preferred as well as knowledge, proven expertise, and work experience appropriate to content areas. The minimum qualification for this position is a graduate degree in Sociology, PhD preferred in Sociology or a related discipline approved by the Sociology department.
