The Canadian International School of Egypt is home to students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Graduation from CISE provides its students with the Canadian “Ontario Secondary School Diploma.”

The Canadian International School of Egypt is dedicated to working in partnership with parents and students to provide a world-class teaching and learning environment to develop students as inquiring, knowledgeable, creative and caring citizens of a global society.

CISE offers students an opportunity to develop through a diverse system that implements the Canadian Ontario curriculum and a wide range of activities. Our inquiry- based programs and activities encourage students to discover their interests and strengths. All of this is done in a safe, caring and supportive school environment that fosters positive attitudes and allows students to challenge themselves and be risk-takers, without the fear of being judged.

Our purpose is to optimize students’ full potential, to widen their horizons through learning, cooperating and sharing and finally to create an environment that will empower students to successfully exist in a global society.

All members of the leadership team have Canadian teaching and administrative experience as well as international school experience. All team members are accredited as Principals/Vice-Principals in Canada. We are confident that this expanded leadership team will provide teaching staff and students with more direct attention and will make school-parent communications even more responsive.

Our aim is to provide the very best for every child within a caring learning environment where everyone is happy, safe and secure. With commitment and support from our professional staff each child is guided and encouraged to develop to their full potential in all areas of learning. We welcome our partnership with parents and look forward to collaborating and reviewing mutually respectful supports for all our learners.

I'm sorry to read this review, as it reflects poorly on the system that espouses itself as one of the best rated international systems in Cairo. When an entire group of students fails to improve in their reading either they are not being properly instructed or they are not having sufficient practise time in and out of class. You can lead a student to a book, but they have to desire to learn.

The Canadian International School Of Egypt is a wonderful school, i’ve been in this school for about 8 years now and I enjoyed every single second of it.

The school is wonderful, the teachers are really helpful; the curriculum helps the kids balance between education and after school life and its considered one of the best systems in the world. I admit the building is a bit old. But the environment is extremely welcoming and the kids love their school.

CISE is one of the worse schools for academics and the school has a severe behavioral problem with its students. Students are socially passed along to the next grade with being taught how to read and write properly. Most of the high school students are reading at a grade 3 level.
