Lecturer in Biomedical Science

Job Summary

Candidates are expected to have a first degree in Biomedical Science, a doctoral level qualification in the related discipline and working experience in clinical laboratory, particularly in the area of cytology or pathology. Candidates must also have an established record of research with evidence of publications.

W are seeking motivated candidates with a desire for accomplishment to join the team in the Faculty of Medicine & Health. Successful candidates are responsible for the following:

• Facilitate learning and carry out research activities in the IMU.
• Teach academic subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem solving learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are increasingly used.
• Involved in academic management work as and when required by the Head of Department.
• Pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department.
