Job Summary

The MD programme of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is conducted in KL campus for the preclinical phase. The Terengganu campus implement the clinical phase which comprises of year 3, 4, and 5. Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah is the teaching hospital plus other health centres, Hospital Daerah Dungun, Hospital Hulu Terengganu and Hospital Kemaman. Recruitment for the Terengganu campus need to be more focussed on specialties. The qualifications are based on the professional degrees such as MRCP, FRCS, or MMed. Phd is of course a welcome qualification. This position requires commitment to teaching, research & scholarly activities and contribution to programme administration and management.

Responsibilities

• To perform relevant administrative tasks as and when required.
• To prepare teaching and learning materials in accordance with the course content and additional materials necessary for delivery and discussion.
• To prepare and grade assessments as stipulated in each offered course.
• To counsel students pertaining to their academic and career.
• To conduct public seminars on contemporary issues when necessary.
• To take part in major public exhibitions, open days and road shows when required.
• To actively involved in research.

Requirements

• The applicants must be Malaysian and registered with MMC.
• Candidate must have a recognized Masters degree. Candidates with PhD will have an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
