Indian and Pakistani curriculum schools have been advised by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) to go ahead with the final examination dates as scheduled.
SPEA took to social media to make the announcement and said examinations for Indian and Pakistani curriculums final examination dates will remain as it is, on condition that students will perform their examinations and return home once they are done.

The tweet also announced that spring break will commence early on Sunday, March 8, 2020 for all private schools in Sharjah, during which time schools are to start preparing for the implementation of distance learning.
During that time, schools will start preparing for implementation of distance learning, the tweet reads.
A consulate official said this should also include students attempting the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations.
Schools and universities across the country will close for a month from Sunday, March 8, as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday night.
