Job Summary

This position is responsible for directing the effective utilization of the total electrical distribution system.

Primary Duties and responsibilities

• Ensures that available power is properly distributed to all areas
• Coordinates utilization of electrical power requirements for remodeling projects
• Serves as a consultant regarding electrical systems
• Repairs plans, equipment specifications and cost estimates for alterations and major improvements
• Analyzes electrical problems and recommends appropriate changes
• Coordinates the construction and installation of electrical systems
• Determines specifications and approves modifications to original blueprints
• Ensures that contractors adhere to all fire protection and electrical equipment and codes

Skills

• Knowledge of national fire protection codes, blueprints and electrical tools and practices
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to speak and write in English is required
• Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
• Health care industry experience is preferred
• Managerial and/or supervisory experience is preferred
