Head of Modern Foreign Language / French Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for an outstanding Head of Department – MFL/French Teacher to join our team at GEMS Founders School, Al Mizhar.

You could be an experienced Head of Department or an Outstanding French Teacher with a proven track record who is ready to take on a leadership role.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelors Degree and a certified teaching qualification such as BEd/PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching MFL French at key stage 3 & 4 is a must, key stage 5 will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• The ability to share your outstanding practice.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
