Beaconhouse School Al Khuwair

Beaconhouse International Private School, Al Khuwair is an accredited partner of Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE) and follows the British Curriculum through Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, as well as IGCSE at Key Stage 4 and a choice of A-Level or, General Education Diploma for Omani students. We also offer classes for KG 1 and KG 2.

Beaconhouse is renowned in Oman for offering an excellent education to its students and is widely recognised in both the local and international community for its educational successes.

My journey, as the Founding Principal, began in the year 2006 at the Qurum Campus where, from humble beginnings, we grew from a villa school to the present situation of having 2 campuses. The new campus in Al Khuwair is purpose built and is open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 (A-Levels and GED).

Through hard work and the dedication of an excellent team of staff, the new campus was made ready and we opened in 2020. We would like to thank every member of the team who contributed to our successful opening.
The new school hosts over 25 different nationalities of students and staff, which makes for a very diverse and culturally rich learning environment. Students and teachers are delighted with the 21st century learning environment, as the school caters for the contemporary needs of students and its modern facilities make Al Khuwair one of the best campuses in the region.

At Beaconhouse, learning is at the heart of everything we do. Developing students’ key skills such as; collaboration, cooperation, communication, creativity and critical thinking are an important part of our educational ethos. Our focus is to help our children learn and grow as we want them to thrive and be life-long learners. Our teachers are passionate and seek to ensure that every child achieves their highest potential.
