Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Digital creative agency is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant. The role involves taking ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
• Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.
• Training and mentoring junior staff.
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Manage daily office administration and accounting.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Min 5-7 years of accounting experience
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification
• XERO proficiency. Available to join immediately.
• Previous experience in production house/ digital agency/ start up is preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Attention to detail. Ability to multitasking and deadlines-oriented
