Bulldozer Driver

Job Summary

To operate and maintain a standard bulldozer and Tractor (4×4) safely and efficiently in order to undertake manual and technical activities to support Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR) requirements. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading animal feed from delivery trucks, and maintenance of DDCR roads and tracks.

• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Discusses safety concerns openly and reports them to the concerned supervisor.
• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job and trained qualifications.
• Operates Bulldozer/Tractor depending on the assigned area in line with the operating manuals based on the training qualifications.
• Inspects assigned Bulldozer/Tractor to ensure serviceability and suitability.
• Assists in DDCR operations activities including sorting, loading and unloading baggage and cargo correctly (whether it is a Support:
  • Day to day prioritisation of equipment for servicing in terms of mileage and recency.
  • Report all defects to direct supervisor.
  • Ensure all identified equipment is serviced and delivered back into the operations as planned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School (Minimum of 10 years of schooling required)
• 0 – 2 years of experience in Bulldozer/Tractor and on-job training.
• UAE Driving license / Home Country Driving License.
• Valid license for operating equipment.
• Basic Communication Skills.
• Basic Safety Awareness.
