Systems Engineer - Modern Workplace

Job Summary

The Al Futtaim group Enterprise IT (EIT) team is currently seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join the team in the capacity of ‘Systems Engineer – Modern Workplace’. The job will be repsonsible for providing L2 support, to resolve issues related to server operations, shared drives, one drives, user creation and deletion, off-boarding and on-boarding.

About the Role

System Engineers – Modern Workplace is a member of End User Productivity team responsible for the management and delivery of client solutions that address current and future business needs while ensuring value realization in the shortest possible timeframe.

Description of the Accountability

• Support Office 365 and related technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Exchange Online, Exchange Server, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Active Directory & Licensing.
• Active Directory User Creation, Email address provisioning and Access Management.
• Provision of Shared Folder Infrastructure.
• Conduct proactive tasks to ensure consistent data is maintained in Active Directory.
• Review License Usage and Optimization.
• Working with End-Users and Vendors to support applications and environments.
• Ensure support tickets (Incidents & SRs) are resolved on time and meeting defined service level agreements.
• Working knowledge of Share point is an added advantage.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

• A degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience in managing Microsoft Active Directory & O365 Applications.
• Understanding of Infrastructure Security Technologies.
• Through with ITIL Process (Incident, Service Request and Change Management)

Minimum Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in managing O365 suite in a large enterprise.

Certification

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
