Junior Design Engineer (UAE Nationals)

Job Summary

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Design Engineer (UAE NATIONALS) to join our team! In this role you will get to work with our design teams to deliver high value projects to our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working under the direct supervision of the senior staff members

• Basic design calculations.
• Hydraulic modeling for design and sizing of wet utilities.
• Work with the drafting team involved in preparation of drawings.
• Assist in quantity take off to prepare bill of quantities.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• 4-year degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental Engineering), candidates with 2-3 years experience will be preferred.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Familiarity with CAD (Civil 3D) and GIS.
• Academic/hands on experience of design and analysis software like Sewer Gems and Water Gems.
• Basic knowledge of open channel and piped hydraulics.
• Basic/academic knowledge of planning, designing and construction of centralized and decentralized urban drainage, sewerage and water supply networks will be added advantage.
• We are looking for a team player with good inter-personal, communication and report writing skills.
