JINS Opens Offering School-like Education in the Villanova Community for 0-5 year olds

UAE: Shamma Al Mansouri (Director of Permits KHDA) and Mrs Mankani, Founder of Fortes Education, have officially opened Jumeirah International Nurseries’ (JINS) brand-new ECC concept in the up-and-coming community of Villanova.

JINS Villanova, one of 9 branches from the award-winning family of nurseries under the Fortes Education Group located across Dubai, has been designed by JINS’ master educators and world-renowned architects, and provides children aged 0 to 5 years old with an unparalleled learning experience. The unique ‘Learning Pod’ concept created by JINS is the first of its kind in the Middle East and places the JINS group at the forefront of Early Years education by transforming the way children learn.

The Early Childhood Centre (ECC) conveniently located in the heart of the community, features an interactive entrance to delight children’s senses, indoor and outdoor learning spaces, state-of-the art facilities, school-level learning resources and teaching in Foundation Stage 2 (FS2) and the revolutionary ‘Learning Pods’ concept that follows the 7 Areas of Learning from the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The Ceremony
Members from KHDA and Fortes Education gathered to celebrate the officially inauguration with a ribbon-cutting and plaque unveiling ceremony followed by a Nursery tour. Samina Khanyari, General Manager of Jumeirah International Nurseries, thanked guests and described the journey that has spearheaded JINS to where they are today “Our success has its roots embedded in our heritage, it is the values of wisdom, performance and love that our Founder Mrs Shakuntla Mankani’s lived by since her arrival in UAE in 1974 that provides the foundation on which JINS is build today”.

She went on to say: “It takes a village to raise a child, and it has taken a team of over 200 incredible individuals from our Early Years leaders, to our architects, and to our Fortes Education Corporate Office team, to create the excellence JINS has to offer to children and parents in this community”.

For parents with children aged 3-5 years old (in FS1 and FS2), the ECC provides strong academic programmes, active hands-on learning in a warm and inspiring environment with outstanding and passionate teachers. The ECC works closely with the Early Years Leadership teams for their Outstanding BSO Certified School in the Group, Sunmarke and Regent International School, and follows the same academic standards to ensure that a school-level education can be provided to families that is much closer to home.
