Another Year of Outstanding IB Results at Tanglin

Award-winning Tanglin Trust School is delighted to share that it has achieved another year of outstanding International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results.

This year’s IB cohort achieved a provisional average Diploma score of 38.3 points, more than 8.1 points above the world average of 30.2. Tanglin is typically among the top three international schools in Singapore for IB results. In a year when the global IB average declined, the school is very proud that our students’ results this year are similar to Tanglin students’ results over the past decade.

This year, one student achieved a perfect score of 45 points and 11 students achieved 42 points or more. Other achievements include:

  • 3 students achieved the prestigious Bilingual Diploma
  • 63% of the cohort scored 38 points or more
  • 100% of students scored 30 points or above and successfully achieved the Diploma

Craig Considine, CEO of Tanglin Trust School commented: “It was wonderful to note the very positive results achieved by Tanglin students this year.  The IB Diploma is a challenging yet fulfilling qualification and each of them has embraced their studies with enthusiasm and perseverance. Well done also to our committed staff who have worked tirelessly to support our young people on their intellectual, well-being and co-curricular journeys through the school.

We wish our IB graduates all the very best for the next stage of their learning journey.”
