IT Support Engineer Hospitality

Job Summary

This role will provide essential IT services to executives, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for users across internet, access control, telephony, and meeting room setups. You will also handle key IT infrastructure tasks as required.

Job Description

• Oversee and maintain HP Aruba switches, access points, and Fortigate firewalls, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
• Manage server and network configurations.
• Configure SSIDs, tailor HP Aruba settings, and monitor network integrity.
• Facilitate Wi-Fi provisioning for individual clients.
• Ensure door lock systems and phone systems function reliably.
• Support BYOD environments and troubleshoot common issues.
• Set up video conferencing equipment (Zoom, Teams) and ensure smooth operation in all meeting rooms.
• Serve as the technical point of contact, explaining Wi-Fi setup, access controls, and other IT processes to clients as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Atleast 2 years of overall IT Support experience.
• Solid knowledge of HP Aruba networking and Fortigate firewall systems, with experience configuring and troubleshooting these technologies.
• Proven experience in network and server management, with familiarity in supporting standalone IT environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
• Professional demeanor and presentation, with strong client-facing abilities.
• Currently based in the UAE, and with the ability to work in Dubai throughout the week.
