Cyber Security Instructor 2025/2026

The IBTE Centre in Dubai is a premier institution dedicated to providing world-class vocational and technical education. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cyber Security professional to join our faculty on a part-time basis, perfect for those looking to make a significant impact while maintaining flexibility.

This role is ideal for a practicing cyber security expert who wants to teach and mentor the next generation of defenders. You will deliver high-impact instruction for internationally recognized qualifications, including NCC Education’s Level 4/5 Diploma in Computing (Cyber Security) and Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses across the NCC Education Level 4/5 Diploma and Pearson BTEC Higher National programs, with a focus on:
• Delivering engaging instruction in core cyber security modules, including Network Security, Ethical Hacking, and Digital Forensics
• Guiding, mentoring, and supporting a diverse cohort of students to foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment
• Creating, marking, and providing constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams in accordance with awarding body guidelines
• Integrating real-world scenarios and current industry practices from your professional experience into the curriculum
• Participating in necessary training and moderation sessions to ensure compliance with academic standards

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD is a strong advantage)
• Current, proven industry experience in a cyber security role (e.g., Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer, Penetration Tester)
• Availability to teach during evenings and/or weekends

Highly Desirable:

• Minimum 5 years of teaching or training experience, especially with NCC Education or Pearson BTEC qualifications
• Recognized professional certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM
• Expertise in networking concepts, security architecture, and vulnerability assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
