Job Summary
The Repairs Officer (Cabin & IFE) will plan, monitor and administer aftermarket processes in compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure Repair Service providers efficiently manage any repair, overhaul, modification of Components and Engine/Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) at favourable costs and within agreed repair turnaround time (RTAT). Analyse and evaluate development opportunities for In-House Capability and Alternate Repair & Supply solutions to deliver supply chain efficiency and support optimal cost of ownership.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate end-to-end repair processes for components, engines and APUs, ensuring regulatory compliance, cost efficiency and adherence to turnaround targets.
- Engage suppliers to secure parts for AOG and critical requirements, review repair quotations for accuracy, warranty application and contractual compliance.
- Support engine maintenance by arranging material availability and monitoring supplier performance, driving corrective actions where required.
- Process and dispatch unserviceable items in line with CAR 145/CAR M requirements; oversee logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Supervise repair coordinators, ensuring workload balance, regulatory compliance and safe working practices.
- Analyse data to support development of in-house repair capability and alternate repair/supply solutions, including preparation of cost–benefit assessments.
- Collaborate with technical, procurement and operational stakeholders to ensure effective communication, issue resolution and alignment of project milestones.
Qualification
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Airline Engineering, Supply Chain, or MRO Procurement.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse and logistics processes, repair management, material planning, inventory control, and technical purchasing.
