Job Summary
British Curriculum School in Dubai is looking for an experienced Year 6 Section Leader to help lead the section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Year 6 team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum.
- Oversee the planning, assessment, and tracking of student progress in Year 6.
- Mentor and support colleagues, providing guidance and leadership in day-to-day teaching and school activities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement school policies and drive improvements within the Year 6 phase.
- Work with parents and carers to ensure clear communication regarding student progress, welfare, and school events.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the British curriculum
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of teachers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Immediate joiners with Own Visa is preferred
