Job Summary
As a SAP ITGC Associate at PwC, you will play a critical role in providing assurance services related to SAP systems, specifically focusing on IT general controls (ITGC) and business process controls (BPC). You will support i engagements, report directly to a senior associate, and provide expert guidance on SAP-related risks and controls. You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assessing the design and operating effectiveness of ITGC within SAP environments, including access controls, change management, security administration, and system development.
- Evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of business process controls (BPC) within SAP applications, such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report processes.
- Identifying control deficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement within SAP systems, and providing recommendations for remediation and enhancement.
- Communicating audit findings, observations, and recommendations to client management in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
- Collaborating with client personnel to address questions, concerns, and recommendations related to SAP ITGC and BPC controls, and providing guidance on best practices and industry
- standards.
Staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to SAP systems and IT controls and incorporating relevant insights into client engagements and methodologies.
What You’ll Bring
You are ambitious and you utilize opportunities to grow and develop. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:
- A degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed or pursuing a professional qualification, such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, CISM, CRISC or a Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or consulting, with a focus on SAP systems and controls.
- Strong understanding of SAP applications, modules, and components, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP GRC, SAP BPC, SAP Solman and SAP Security.
- Experience with SAP ITGC and BPC frameworks, standards, and methodologies, such as COBIT, COSO, and ITIL.
- Proficiency in SAP security concepts, including user access management, segregation of duties (SoD), and role design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex IT environments and identify control deficiencies and risks.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead engagements, manage teams, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, effectively communicate findings and recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to challenge the ‘norms’ and to create a cohesive and effective working team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
