Job Summary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* To teach producing component drawings suitable for transfer onto a CAM system and produce a simple 3D surfaces.

* To teach transferring data generated in CAD to a CAM system for subsequent machining.

* To teach simulating the cutter paths on a CAM system to optimise the machining sequences.

* To teach transferring a generated tape file to a CNC machine and produce the component.

* To teach the design and operational characteristics of a PLC system.

* To teach writing programmes, PLC information and communication techniques.

* To teach transferring data generated in CAD to a CAM system for subsequent machining.

*To teach applying programmable logic programming techniques.

* To teach PICs and other programmable devices and alternative implementations and PLC simulators of programmable control.
