It was with great excitement and enthusiasm that we opened the doors to our first pupils at Abacus Belsize Primary School in September 2013. We are now a complete school, running from Reception to Year 6. As a team, we are committed to building a school that is the local school of choice for Belsize Park residents and the surrounding area. We are dedicated to delivering an exciting and enriching curriculum to all of our pupils.
Our school is proud to be part of Anthem Schools Trust. Anthem is an education charity that runs a group of state-funded primary and secondary schools to give children a better future.
Our schools work in collaboration as one entity to improve and maintain high educational standards, experiences and outcomes across the Trust. Our single legal and moral purpose is to advance education for public benefit.
Anthem serves over 8,000 children and young people across the East Midlands, London and Thames Valley. Our vision is that by working together, we will create ambitious and successful schools in which every child thrives.

Abacus Belsize Primary School is a primary school which opened in September 2013 under the Free Schools Programme to help meet the local need for school places. A member of the Anthem Schools Trust family of schools, we are secular and welcome children from all backgrounds.
Our mission is to foster a positive, creative and multi-sensory learning environment that inspires each child to maximise their individual talents, curiosity and ability to think. At Abacus, we believe all children are entitled to enjoy their childhood and live it actively.
Our aim at Abacus is to make a positive contribution to the development of children as individuals and as members of the community. We want to give children a sense of who they are and where they belong in the world.
