Abacus Belsize Primary School admissions criteria for Reception
Applications for Reception places at the school will be considered in accordance with the arrangements set out below.
If fewer applications are received than there are places available, all applicants will be offered a place. If the school is oversubscribed, after the admission of pupils with a Statement of Special Educational Needs where the school is named in the Statement/ EHC Plan, priority for admission will be given to those children who meet the criteria set out in the admissions policy
Meeting for new Parents
Reception parents meetings are arranged in the Summer and Autumn terms to give information about expectations for the Reception classes.
Notification of an offer of a school place
Parents will be sent a letter in April by Camden Council to notify them of an offer of a school place. School will contact families in May with information about our stay and play sessions and completing admissions paperwork.

You will then be invited to visit the school and discuss the application process and to check physical copies of your ID and proof of address.
