Abdul Ali

I am a Senior Lecturer and the Programme Director for the MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Greenwich. I have been contributing to academia and academic leadership for over 10 years in various roles in several UK HEI settings. I was the Academic Portfolio Leader (Contract) for around a year in Operations and Supply Chain Management in the University of Greenwich. I have completed my PhD in Supply chain management where I explored the impact of collaboration on sustainability (environmental, social and economic) in the food supply chain. I am involved in research and teaching extensively in operations, supply chain, logistics, sustainability, green operations and supply chain, food waste circular economy and digitalisation. I am a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE). I am actively involved in various professional Bodies in operations, Logistics, supply chain and overall management domains. I am a Chartered Member (CMILT) of the Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport CILT And the committee member for the CILT London Region.
