Acacia Rise

Acacia Rise is dedicated to bringing our clients a readily accessible portal and facilitating effective communication. At Acacia Rise, our teachers facilitate the development of every child’s dynamic thinking so that they can solve problems, generate hypotheses, make critical analyses and develop meaningful relationships. Each day at Acacia Rise is designed to develop specific dynamic processes within specific academic areas. Even as we teach basic skills, our focus is on guiding each child to perceive, relate, integrate, plan and problem solve. Our teachers will work closely with families so that there is an integration of school and home, where parents will follow through on the objectives set up for the child.

The mission of Acacia Rise is to give the greatest gifts we can to our children: the ability to problem solve collaboratively in a very dynamic world. Through the process of guided participation, we aim to build the foundations in each child that leads to developing resilience in the face of change and challenges.

Our teaching guides work in collaboration with parents to build each child's resilience. By systematically and productively challenging each child to grow beyond their current levels of competency, we aim to increase the child's ability to think flexibly.

We aim to build on each child’s strengths as well as working on overcoming limitations. School activities, ranging from academics to exploration and discovery in nature and in the community, are used as vehicles to learn how to effectively communicate with and learn from more experienced guides.

Learning with the International Primary Curriculum means that children focus on a combination of academic, personal and international learning that is exciting and challenging. The aim of the IPC is to help every child enjoy the learning of a wide range of subjects and to develop an enquiring mind, the personal attributes that will help throughout teenage and adult years, and to develop a sense of his or her own nationality and culture, at the same time developing a profound respect for the nationalities and cultures of others. Through the IPC approach to learning children develop the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to confidently face the world of tomorrow.
