ACS Doha is proud to announce the launch of the Artemis Promise Scholarships, a transformative initiative designed to attract and support academically outstanding students who will enrich our diverse school community. This scholarship program is a testament to ACS Doha’s commitment to fostering international-mindedness, holistic intercultural competencies, and preparing students for a global future through the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum.

The Artemis Promise Scholarships aim to make an American international IB World education accessible to students from Grade 4 to Grade 11 who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements and a commitment to school life. These scholarships provide part tuition remission at 25% and 50%, ensuring that talented students, who might otherwise be unable to attend, can benefit from the unique educational opportunities at ACS Doha.

“We need all-rounders,” said Nigel Winnard, Interim Head of School at ACS Doha. “Our goal is to nurture students who are not only academically excellent but also possess the international-mindedness and holistic intercultural competencies that are essential in today’s interconnected world. The Artemis Promise Scholarships are designed to support and develop these future global leaders.”

Key Features of the Artemis Promise Scholarships:

• Eligibility: Open to new students from Grade 4 to Grade 11 with sufficient academic English proficiency.
• Application Process: Overseen by the ACS Admissions Office, requiring formal documentary evidence of academic accomplishment, scholarship tests in English, Math, and Critical Thinking, and an interview.
• Decision-Making: Managed by the Scholarship Committee, chaired by the Head of School, with decisions communicated within 5 working days of testing and interviews.
• Award Duration: Scholarships are awarded and reviewed annually, contingent on continued academic excellence and adherence to high standards of behavior.
