The tradition of Al-Hussan education began in 1956 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia; when Sheikh Abdel Aziz Rashid Al-Hussan started the Arab Cultural Institute for adult education. In the following year Al-Hussan Modern Girls School, the first girls’ school in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia was opened.
Today there are nineteen schools and other educational institutes throughout the Eastern Province and Riyadh rated among the best in Saudi Arabia. Today his son Rashid Abdel Aziz Al-Hussan is the president, continuing his father’s vision of education.
Al-Hussan International Grammar School opened on August 23, 2015. We are catering for students from KG1 to Grade 3 boys and KG1 to grade 5 Girls. The program of study is the same as all other Al-Hussan International Schools as follows:
Pre-K and KG1 programs are based on the International standards of both Cambridge and Common Core for English, Math and Science. The curriculum of all other subjects have been developed in house.
KG2 to Grade 5 programs are based on the International standards of both Cambridge and Common Core for English, Math and Science the curriculum of all other subjects have been developed in house and are vertically and horizontally aligned. Curriculum resources include American publications in the primary grades for English, Math and Science. The objectives and content of such course materials are in alignment with the subject curricula for the respective grades.
