The American School of Bangkok, Green Valley Campus strives to excel in the international education community. Our graduates are prepared to be critical thinkers, independent learners, effective communicators, and global citizens.
Our Mission is To foster academic excellence in a caring community where diversity is celebrated and mutual respect between adults and students is practiced. We provide the foundation for lifelong mindful learning and the skills and values needed to become responsible leaders in the global community.
Students lead through their commitment to each other, the school, and the broader community. They are mindful leaders in academics through volunteering and through their involvement in sports, clubs, and various after school activities.
The philosophy of The American School of Bangkok centers on promoting excellence in children and youth in the following ways:
The American School of Bangkok Green Valley Campus is an IB World School offering the IBDP. The Diploma Program (DP) is a curriculum framework designed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) for students in the last two years of high school.
IB students graduating with the IB diploma are able to study in universities all around the world, often with advanced credit. The program equips students with tools needed to succeed at college. In particular, students gain self-confidence, research skills and the ability to manage their time. More importantly, they have developed into internationally minded individuals and global citizens.
The ASB Green Valley Campus Student Services Center commits to providing students with the support they need to achieve their personal, academic and career goals. The office offers career guidance designed to assist students with their tertiary education selection, application and scholarships by assessing their academic and personal achievements, skills, talents, potential and ambitions. To complement the academic support, the office also works with other departments to accommodate students with personal, social and emotional concerns. The overall goal is to ensure that students undergo complete growth in preparation for future challenges.
The Student Services office initiated the Advisory Program as an additional course for high school students. The course is focused on providing students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 with a venue for Social / Emotional Learning, Career and College Counseling, Health as well as Mindfulness to promote holistic growth and development. While each year level has the same overarching main subject focus, specific topics will be discussed based on their grade level.

Good facility. I love the atmosphere of the tree, the big football field and the golf course in front of the school. Nice after school programs and the teachers are professionals.

I really like this school because of its long list of after school activities offered. It's a great school with a very friendly community. Beautiful campus with constant renovations. Class sizes are small and teachers are so caring.

I really like it. The place is spacious. There are many sports to study. There's also golf. And most importantly, my son likes it here. His friends are cute and the kids are neat.

Being back here as an alumni, its great to see that the facilities have changed for the better! The big building over by the playground is a huge surprise considering it used to just be a patch of grass. The cafeteria's upgrade is really nice as well, I'm really jealous of the students that'll get to have cooking classes this year. Overall, glad to know its still the same warm and friendly atmosphere as before :)))
