Job Summary

Marin Academy seeks a high school biology teacher for a part-time (two sections), temporary sabbatical replacement for the spring semester.

The MA science department values a student inquiry-based approach to the discipline, emphasizing process and skill development. Our faculty strives to connect curriculum and students to the world. Candidates should have a background in the biological sciences and, ideally, some experience teaching anatomy, physiology, or biology. Ideal candidates will also possess initiative, technological savvy, a passion for working with students and participating in the everyday life of the school, and a good sense of humor. Candidates should also have the inclination and experience to work in a diverse community focused on issues of equity and social justice.
