Anglo Singapore International School arose from humble beginnings a mere 15 years ago. In the ensuing decade and a half, it has grown in size and stature, developed new traditions, and seen many promising students come through its doors. Following the guiding principles of Diligence, Respect, Responsibility, and Progress, Anglo has succeeded in establishing a reputation for excellence, and has become a dominant player in the area of international school education in Thailand. Below, you’ll find a brief overview of our school’s history, highlighting major milestones in our expansion and growth over the last 15 years.
Anglo was founded in 2003 as a small school with a simple goal: to provide Singaporean residents of Thailand with the same standard of education that they would receive at home. The Singaporean curriculum, which mirrors many Western education systems’ curriculum, provides a depth and breadth of subjects and learning areas for students. This includes a strong maths, science, and English background, along with a variety of other subject areas critical to shaping young minds. The holistic education approach used at Anglo allows students to not only achieve educational excellence, but also to assimilate into the student body of their home country with ease.
Our goal is to making a difference in the education of Singaporean children living in Thailand. It was partially born out of personal necessity. As a mother of four children, We seek only the best for them. Needless to say, their education was a top priority during their up-bringing. They needed schooling that allowed them to fit into any international environment. And of course, as the gauge for the highest standard of education, they would also have to be able to return to Singapore and keep up with the rigorous academic demands from the Singaporean MOE. Starting from a small school of only 4 students back in 2003, 15 years have gone by, and we have indeed grown exponentially. Today, Anglo Singapore International School is home to over 1,500 students across two campuses in Bangkok and one in Korat. Our school continues to succeed because of the commitment of our teachers, the trust of our parents, and the support of the management team. Together, we have a vision to nurture and inspire a diverse learning community.
Our students enter top universities all over the world, year in and year out. In the past 15 years, we have seen 30% of our graduating classes head into medicine, 25% to engineering, and another 20% to business. The rest enter programmes including law, the social sciences, and design. Each year, our math, science and Chinese departments achieve internationally-recognised accolades. In fact, our students score among the top in Thailand and top in the world on their IGCSEs/AS/A-Level Cambridge Examinations. It is gratifying to see our students work together with their teachers in overcoming obstacles, realising the value of hard work, and achieving their dreams. Nothing is impossible as we reach for the stars!

The school is very conveniently located next to the BTS and highway. The education programs offered are great and they have a lot of extra curricular programs as well, making learning experiences well balanced. Well rounded school, definitely recommend.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the Lion Cubs program at Anglo Singapore. It's basically a play day paradise for toddlers, and let me tell you, it’s a total hit! My little ones get to run around, make new friends, and engage in some fun activities. The vibe is super friendly and the staff really know how to keep the kids entertained. The playground is awesome!! I promise you won't find this at other school.
I don't find traffic here to be as bad compared to other Sukhumvit area and BTS is right in front of the school.
As a mom, I'm really satisfied and highly recommend it!
