KIS International School, centrally located in Bangkok, Thailand, is an IB World School exclusively offering the International Baccalaureate programmes. KIS is a collaborative community of over 750 students and 50 nationalities. We enjoy a strong community atmosphere and a variety of pursuits in academics, athletics, arts, and service.
Our dedicated teachers and supportive parents work in partnership toward the attainment of student success. The school offers an academically challenging international curriculum and a well-rounded programme of sports, creativity, and community service. KIS is recognized as a top-quality international school with high academic standards being fully accredited by both the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). We are also licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education, and are active members of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
We are also a member of AISAA (Asian International School Athletics Association) and MRISA (The Mekong River International Schools Association), along with other international schools, participate in a range of sports and cultural activities provided by the organization.
Through membership and affiliations with these organizations, and by participating in international projects with organizations such as the International Task Force for Child Protection we work to ensure that our student's education, well being and safety are our priority.

KIS offers all four International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes which provide an outstanding framework for learning for students from 3-18 years old. The IB is academically strong, well balanced, international, and respected globally. KIS is just one of three international schools in Bangkok offering the IB experience from the Early Years to Graduation, and the only school in Bangkok to offer all four IB programmes.
Students learn much more than just knowledge at KIS. Students are guided to develop skills in such areas as: thinking critically and creatively, problem solving, reflecting, communicating, social skills, collaboration, self-management, self-motivation, resilience, emotional management, time management, research and information literacy. These skills allow them to continue learning throughout their lives and to have what it takes to be the innovators of the future.

Furthermore, authorisation by the IB and accreditation by CIS give assurance that high globally recognized standards are maintained in academics and in the way the school operates.
KIS is located in a quiet, gated, and guarded housing estate near the centre of Bangkok, and the thoughtfully designed facilities are purpose-built to support our academic and extracurricular programmes.
In August 2018 the school opened our Arts and Design centre. These facilities include three visual arts studios with plenty of natural light, and our black box performing arts facility supports KIS students' creativity. Students use advanced graphics and 3D modeling software to explore product design with state of the art equipment in our Design and Technology Suite. The building also hosts a multipurpose hall, a school shop, and several offices, including the athletics and activities office, and the admissions office.

Kis has been such a wonderful experience for me and my son. He is graduating this year - class of 2023.His university counselors were so helpful Right from application, to guidelines, to questions about scholarship. Everything was so well sorted. So were his teachers. They were a delight.The admin staff and the community was a joy to interact and everything has been an amazing experience.

All the teachers at KIS wish us the best and teach with all their passion. The education and food are great and the student support is also very understanding and helpful. Overall, I think KIS has a great educational system and it also provides students with a caring and inclusive community. The students are very caring and cooperative with a balance of sportsmanship and respect for each other. Although this might be biased, from what I've seen, KIS has the most caring and inclusive community out of all international schools. Amazing school. Literally no one is left out.
