Annemount instils a love of learning and mutual respect. Courtesy is right at the top of our agenda and each pupil is greeted at the start of the day with a hand-shake, eye-contact and a personal Good Morning!
We strongly believe in breadth of education and provide a wide range of extra-curricular subjects with hand-picked specialist teachers. All of our educators come with depth of subject knowledge and understanding of the age group as well as a passion for pedagogy.
The breadth the school offers takes care of the academics. It is unsurprising that the children leave the school at seven in a strong position to embrace their next stage of learning, having had so much experience of developing different kinds of study skills.
We are committed to pastoral care, looking after each and every pupil, taking into account their individual needs and interests. Wellbeing is at the top of our agenda. We teach children techniques and life skills to self-regulate, feel calm and face challenges positively.
We work in partnership with parents, offering forums to discuss pertinent issues around parenting and education and the challenges of raising children in a fast-changing technological era.

Aims and Ethos
The aim of the school is to bring out the individuality of each child so that they can realise their potential with self-discipline and respect. The philosophy of the school is to encourage good character and citizenship so that each individual can be a valued member of the community.
Children are encouraged to develop their own high standards and to have a balance between work and play as well as plenty of physical exercise.
The school treats the pupils with the highest respect and rewards both effort and consideration towards others. Positive relationships amongst the pupils are encouraged and the atmosphere at the school is warm, friendly and calm.
The health and safety of the pupils are paramount together with their emotional, physical and psychological well being.

I could not have given my 3 boys a better start in life. Annemount is a happy, friendly and nurturing environment which fostered their self confidence and social skills to set them on their way to big school! They loved Annemount and made life-long friends.

Amazing school where my 3 children felt safe, loved, respected. I am very happy I found it (by chance at the time) in the heart of the Suburb for them and I know the happy memories they have of it will never fade.

Annemount is a nurturing school preparing children in their early years for the next step . Academics are very important but the education your children will receive will be well rounded ...from art appreciation , to music , general knowledge and sports , computer literacy and chess all the things you want your children to be exposed to bringing out their latent talent . Individuality is highly celebrated at Annemount. Both my children went to Annemount and they are excelling not just in the classroom but also with their EQ and social skills . Annemount kids are famous for their polite behaviour and kindness and are great ambassadors of this ethos . When you join the school you have a family for life !

Our 3 children have all attended Annemount and we have been delighted with it. The education is amazing - our oldest went on to a great school and we hope the other 2 will also. The staff are very warm and caring and our children all feel very much at home there. They offer a lot more besides academics - dance, chess, French... the list goes on. It really is a special place.

Our daughter has been at Annemount for 5 very happy years now and in that time it has been a very nurturing and caring environment. All the teachers are incredibly warm and kind to the children. The school day is always fun, busy and incredibly creative. For such a small school it has an extensive range of clubs, some starting at 8am in the morning and a choice of staying till 4pm. There is a great community feel and lots of opportunities for parent involvement.
