The mission of The Art Institute of Seattle is to provide career-driven, professional education programs. Degree programs prepare students to begin careers in design, media, fashion, and culinary fields by focusing on the demands of professional practice. They incorporate curriculum in both core technical disciplines and liberal arts. The college is dedicated to holistic student development and providing a positive and supportive learning community. The Art Institute of Seattle's Department of Student Services is committed to providing comprehensive student services that promotes student engagement, growth, and development for all students. Student Services does this by providing coordinated, intentional services that supports all of our students' individual academic and personal development.

The Art Institutes provide accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. The Office of Disability Support Services assists all qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and in supporting equal access to services, programs and activities at The Art Institutes.

Through a range of competitions and other opportunities, The Art Institutes system of schools is offering full and partial scholarships to new and current students during the upcoming school year. We also offer a variety of financial resources to help qualified students manage their school expenses. Our dedicated Student Financial Aid officers will help you explore all your options—including grants, loans, and scholarships—as you prepare to launch a creative career where you do what you love.

And a big part of that is connecting you with new people and places, and gathering new experiences outside the classroom. We’re here to help you explore the campus and the city, and get involved in organizations, clubs and activities, on and off campus.
