Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have experience of university teaching at lecturer/assistant professor level on a full-time basis, will be able to convincingly demonstrate a strong dedication to academic research and will have a track-record of international peer reviewed publications. The successful candidate should be capable of working in a team and contributing to developing the teaching and research agenda within the School, as well as assisting the School’s fund-raising activities through grant applications. Applicants for the position must have completed a PhD in politics or international relations with a relevant focus.

Dublin City University is a university situated on the Northside of Dublin in Ireland. Created as the National Institute for Higher Education, Dublin, it enrolled its first students in 1980 and was elevated to university status in 1989 by statute. In September 2016, DCU completed the process resulting in the incorporation of three Dublin institutions: Church of Ireland College of Education; Mater Dei Institute of Education and St Patrick's College.
