Department of Mechanical Engineering, Section of Solid Mechanics at the Technical University of Denmark seeks an Assistant Professor in Multidisciplinary Optimization.
The assistant professorship is a permanent entry-level faculty position.
The Assistant Professor position is associated with the TopOpt-group that is world-leading within development and application of systematic optimization approaches for structural and multidisciplinary optimization. Specifically, the candidate shall contribute to activities within nano-optical design and topology optimization approaches in close collaboration with DTU Fotonik / Department of Photonics Engineering.
You will be engaged in teaching within a broad range of solid mechanics and multiphysics disciplines. You will be expected to develop strong collaborative, innovative and multidisciplinary research activities, and to contribute to teaching in basic and advance solid mechanics courses. Moreover, you are expected to participate in fundraising and be an active participant in externally funded projects.
