Assistant Professor in School of Business

Job Summary

Trent University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the School of Business at the rank of Assistant Professor, subject to budgetary approval. Trent University is a top-ranked primarily undergraduate school with a record of excellence in both teaching and research.

Teaching responsibilities will cover at least two areas from among Management, Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management, Strategy, or Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate must have a PhD and will demonstrate excellence or clear promise of excellence in research and teaching. Candidates must have excellent oral communication, written communication and interpersonal skills. The School envisions the successful candidate being able to teach introductory courses as well as upper-year courses in their areas of specialization. The successful candidate will have aspirations for collegiality, community and/or professional engagement, as well as engaged scholarship.
