Our mission is to imbue each and every one of our students with a lifetime love of learning and to encourage them to become confident, responsible and effective contributors to society. We believe that every child is a competent learner from birth, and every child should be treated with respect and as an individual.

Our teachers are all well qualified early year’s professionals with internationally recognized Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Our Chinese language teachers are fluent Putonghua speakers qualified and experienced in early childhood education. At this age strong relationships are embedded with the familiar teacher and will be the role model that a child learns to trust and looks to for security and care.

Our Kindergarten is a bright and spacious facility overlooking the beautiful greenery of Victoria Park. The classroom is open planned and offers different areas of age appropriate learning, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Kindergarten is equipped with the latest up to date educational equipment from the U.K. Along with the newest models of interactive white boards to support the children’s learning.

Our two locations offer spacious playgroup classrooms, purposely designed for babies to indulge in all of their favorite activities. We provide the most up to date teaching resources and equipment to promote all areas of learning for the babies. Our schools are designed with beautiful waiting areas, providing feeding areas, educational reading materials and refreshments. Our Nursery classrooms offer a wonderful space for our small class sizes. We provide appropriate areas of learning and equipment, along with the newest models of interactive white boards to support the children’s learning.

Working in line with Early Years Foundation Stage allows us to extend our curriculum further to enquiry based learning. This extension takes place with the children attending independent classes at nursery and kindergarten. The heart of this approach is the powerful image of the child. Our teachers see children as full of potential, competencies and capable of building their own theories.

The enquiry based learning works in line with our primary topic extending children’s understanding of the world. Children ask questions and generate their own hypotheses; they generate many possibilities both affirming and contradicting their ideas.

Children are able to communicate their ideas with others and share their interests within the topic. There is nothing but endless benefits from this format of teaching, which complements the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

For younger children attending Baby Buddies we encourage parents to engage in their child’s learning journey by providing pictures from home, in relation to our primary topic. The pictures are displayed on our Learning Tree of Life and assist the teachers with their planning. This results in the children and their families having a deeper interest in the primary topic as it represents a direct link from home to school.
