We focus on the process first, the product naturally follows. At Bebegarten, children come first. Every child is unique. We inspire, not just teach. We let children explore, experience and love naturally the world they live in. This is where they begin their happy and lifelong learning journey.
When it comes to educating children in their early years, we believe there is more to it than just learning how to write ABCs and adding 1-2-3.Our alternative approach to early years education aims to provide a solid foundation for children to develop their lifelong curiosity by ‘learning to live, living to learn’. Children are unique individuals. We show children respect, give them time and space to interact with the world.
We empower children the freedom to express themselves in order to guide them through their learning, thus achieving their developmental milestones in a self-initiated and fun way. We continuously invest in teacher development and evolve our curriculum. We want to be inspired, so that we can inspire our children.
Our great teachers have the time and attention to interact with the children and treat them as unique individuals. One-to-one high level dialogue between the teacher and child during each class, ensuring no child slips through the cracks and that each of their individual developmental needs is being addressed. We ensure education can be extended from Bebegarten to home by inviting parents to participate in class, having regular dialogues between teachers and parents, and providing comprehensive progress reports focusing on each child’s specific developmental and educational progress. A child-initiated, evolving learning process consisting of various play-based activities that are developmentally appropriate.
Our child-centred, emergent curriculum places children first. Every child is encouraged to develop their autonomy, build physical strength, confidence and social skills. We inspire children from crawling in, to bounding out of our doors, ready for any formal or future schooling environment. Our tailor made and extensive range of sensory, physical and creative play activities for under 3’s enrich our little one’s first learning journey. Bebegarten programmes focus on developing the ‘whole child’, ensuring that every child develops to their fullest potential.
We use children’s individual interests and play based activities to motivate their learning. Our Language of Children™ curriculum adopts an emergent and creative approach, which encourages children to plan, initiate projects and reflect on their own learning. Children are seen as being confident, capable and creative as they learn valuable skills; critical for lifelong success in learning and living.
Lifelong learning begins with passion. Our enrichment classes are filled with diverse activities that allow children to truly enjoy the learning process, foster their creativity, develop interests, talents and obtain skills appropriate for their developmental stage. Children will build the knowledge about the world they live in and grow to be confident communicators.
Our unique programmes allow each child to reach their fullest potential in low ratio nurturing classroom environments. Included in these environments is a school-wide Learning Support Service. This in-house service supports all children to overcome the barriers to learning they may have.
Bebeplus also offers a range of customised programmes for children who have specific needs such as language delay, speech sound difficulties, social communication difficulties or ASD. These programmes include Social Plus, Speech Plus and Late Talker Classes, as well as Speech and Language Therapy Services.
Our 10,000+ sq. ft. of open space with classrooms and dedicated activity areas allow children to observe and learn from each other. For our play-based curriculum to be impactful, a bright open space that can develop and stimulate creativity is important, as environment is reputed to be the third teacher. The needs for children under 3 years old and those above are different. Understanding that, our equipment and facilities are designed to be age appropriate and reflective of the real world. We use natural materials wherever possible and have equipped each area with toys that allow children’s imagination and creativity to fly. Our dedicated visual and performing arts rooms allow children to develop their talent and creativity in a well-equipped and safe environment.
