Blue House Infant & Toddler Atelier offers a series of provocative and unique programmes providing an opportunity for young children to explore light, space, texture, sound and a vast range of sensory experiences alongside an accompanying adult. The Atelier environment has been designed in great detail with plenty of natural light, warm colour tones and specific equipment and materials flown direct from Reggio Emilia in Italy, the heartland of the approach that inspires our pedagogy.
Our weekly Playgroups offer families an opportunity to initiate routine and support children in making social connections. Children grow in confidence, joining their class group at the same time each week, with our team of experts leading families on a journey that builds upon the previous weeks’ discoveries. Our Playgroups conducted both indoors and outdoors, take children on a sensory journey through sight, sound, touch and even scent and taste.
Each week we offer a range of unique classes. Our Classes provide children with a breadth of experiences and choices, encouraging development within a variety of contexts. Families can choose which classes to join based on their child’s stage of development and individual interests.
All children have access to small group experiences, project-based learning, fluidity of choice between indoor and outdoor explorations, flexible timeframes that facilitate research to form deeper connections.
Our role as Educators is to inspire, support, nurture, and guide. We are, each of us, co-learners working and researching alongside the children; supporting them with questions and differing perspectives to provoke and drive learning.
The environment offered to children invites research and is often referred to as ‘the third educator’. Children have access to Music and Art Ateliers, a Community Garden, natural outdoor landscapes, and a “Karung Guni” room filled with open-ended materials so as to encounter beautiful, inspiring, and meaningful environments that pique their curiosity.

wonderful - the school is fantastic for little ones starting to learn, the teachers are the heart and soul. I wish my son could stay there til he was 18!

We love Bluehouse! Our daughter joined Bluehouse nursery at the beginning of the year and absolutely loved it. We have just left Singapore (in the last week)and are currently looking for a nursery that is both Emilia Reggio inspired and comes close to our experience at Bluehouse and are really struggling - we have been so spoilt. Anyone who has the opportunity to send their child here is very lucky!
