The Bosco Centre is a friendly, caring environment for young people and their families. The Centre provides a safe, educational setting for babies and young children at our Day Nursery, for school children at our Junior (after school) club and for those at secondary school and above at the Senior Youth Clubs - for those aged between 15 and 19 at our Bosco College.

We offer training at all levels, from where you left off in learning, to where you want to be. You can slot in at your level from foundation to advanced apprenticeships and even to teaching. Our students at college can remain with us until 25 years of age, as long as they are progressing. There's a place for anyone who is motivated to learn and develop good career and personal skills. From birth to the workplace, the Bosco Centre provides education, support, advice, activities and most importantly - a safe place to be with friends and caring people. It's not just a Nursery. It's not just a youth club. It's not just a College.

The Bosco Nursery is one of the leading providers of childcare in the area and is consistently deemed a good provider by Ofsted. Our nursery caters for 34 children between the ages of 1 to 5 years and is open Monday – Thursday 8am-6pm and Fridays 8am-5pm so that parents have flexibility in dropping off and picking up their children. For our young people who want to consider childcare as a career, the nursery offers a chance to experience what it is like and help them decide on whether they would want to progress onto an apprenticeship.

Bosco Centre Day Nursery was established in 1985. It grew from a small crèche to help local mums into what we have now: a first rate day-care nursery for children from the age of 1 year to 5 years, offering full time and part time day sessions. We provide an environment that is safe, warm, caring, stimulating and welcoming for you and your child with fun, early education in a well-planned, child-friendly environment. Our nursery is a place where your child will enjoy and learn during their early developmental years. We aim to provide and adapt to your child’s individual needs.

A Unique, High Quality, User-Friendly, Education and Community Centre, for young people and their families, which values the uniqueness and dignity of each individual. The priority user group, will be those who wish to take up the opportunities for self development, particularly those who have been, in any way, excluded from or failed by “society’s institutions".

To support and empower our young people and their families (with a particular emphasis on those who are disadvantaged and discriminated against in any way by society’s institution), to be constructive in their community, as honest, caring, responsible adults, who are effective employable citizens.

We have been working with young people for over 20 years to help them get a career. Our students are encouraged and supported to build themselves a career, despite any personal challenges they may have.

We look at where you are now and where you want to be when you leave us. We’ll help you choose the right pathway for you and provide the space for you to achieve your goals, giving you the freedom to learn at your own pace but also helping build self-discipline.

We work with you to develop a plan so that you can gain qualifications to get a job. All our qualifications are national and recognised by employers. So whichever course you take, you know you will have a head start if you complete it. We have successfully managed our two main learning programmes - Foundation Learning and Apprenticeships, for over 14 years, so you can have confidence in using our experience to help you fulfil your ambition.
