Brentfield Primary and Nursery School is situated in spacious, attractive and quiet grounds just off Brentfield Road near the Swaminarayan Temple.
The original school was built in the 1940’s, but doubled in size with the completion of a new block in 1991 and a new library extension in 2007. The school is now a spacious, bright and welcoming place, with additional rooms for music, dance and drama, plus extensive playgrounds surrounded with landscaped gardens, part of which is a wildlife area, which the children use for their science work.
Learning is at the heart of everything we do at Brentfield, where our dedicated team of staff are totally involved in providing a wide and interesting curriculum for our children. We relish the opportunity of supporting the academic skills needed, whilst encouraging natural interest and development of future life skills, and we work extensively with parents to see our children on their educational journey.
We very much value serving a multi-cultural community and being such a diverse school, where we draw our pupils mainly from our immediate neighbourhood in the Brent area.
Our school is a 2½ form entry with 430 children in attendance and was judged ‘Good’ by OFSTED at their last review. We welcome parents to come into school to look at all aspects of school life, so if you are interested in your child joining Brentfield, please call 0208 965 5326 and come and see us.
Vision and Values
As a vibrant diverse community, we put learning at the heart of everything we do. We nurture children to prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of an unknown, yet exciting future. We instil in the children a sense of self-belief to enable them to be creators of their own destiny.
We passionately believe that as a school, in partnership with parents and the community we must prepare children for the future. We promote achieving academic excellence alongside with the skills needed to be global citizens.
Through our exciting and challenging curriculum, we instil in the children a self-belief that they have the power to shape their own destiny. Through ‘The Brentfield Way’ we put inclusion at the centre of our practice. Pupils who attend Brentfield are Children of today, Champions for tomorrow.
