B.F.I.S offers classes from Reception (age group 3 & above) to class XII. From class-VIII we have separate streams of Matric, F.Sc, IGCSE, AS Level and A-Level classes. BFIS is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad. BFIS is the only Asian school, which is offering IGCSE to the residents of Doha. It is also one of the very few schools, which offers AS-Level and A-Level Classes. The school is a recognized exam and study centre of Edexcel, London Board, UK.
The academic year of the school begins in the first week of September and culminates with the third term exams in the start of June every year. The school has two terms system, with First Term spanning over September to December, 2nd Term January to June. 1st Term exams carries 30% weightage, whereas 2nd Term carries 70% weightage towards the promotion to the next level.
It is said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step. Formation of Bright Future International School was a head start towards the journey of success, excellence, and commitment. Prime motive behind establishing this institution was paying back to the society by providing a better educated, well groomed and more cultured generation that upholds true spirit of morals and ethics.
Educational philosophy of the school is self narrated in its motto “We are the future.” Future demands us to be ready for ever challenging and endless environment, and the best way to cope these oddities is to equip ourselves with the latest knowledge.
