Whilst we’re proud of our students’ academic success, we believe that success rises from our focus on placing individual students at the centre of all we do. We’re a school where teachers know the children very well, and strong, warm and trusting relationships form the bedrock of our environment. We emphasise student happiness, underpinned by the researched principles of positive education, to develop character attributes, strengths and skills that help students grow into resilient, academically prepared, young people.
BSKL has over 1,000 students covering Early Years, Primary and Secondary, including Sixth Form. It follows a globally respected curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, and thinks beyond traditional education to transform learning. In 2016 BSKL was graded as excellent in all areas of educational provision by the Independent Schools Inspectorate; a result that is comparable to that of many top UK independent schools and is unprecedented in Malaysia.
Students achieve excellent exam results, out-performing many of their UK counterparts. In the last academic year 75% of students achieved A*/A and 91% A*/B grades in all of their GCSE examinations. These academic achievements were also matched by the older students in their A Levels with 61% of students achicheiving A*/A and 93% of students achieveing A*-C grades.
The BSKL campus is divided into three – Lower, Junior and Secondary. All campuses provide a wonderfully bright, modern environment in which students can study and explore.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
My three boys have been at BSKL for the last twelve years. We’ve seen the school grow from a small community at The Club in Bandar Utama, to the purpose built campus that stands today.
It’s been as amazing experience for our family to live in Malaysia and attend such a fantastic school. BSKL has so much to offer it’s students with a broad curriculum base, sports, music and drama activities, leadership and so much more. My boys have been incredibly lucky to have been offered so many opportunities throughout their journey here. It’s a truly fantastic school!

We have been a part of BSKL's family for more than 4 years. The staff and teachers are brilliant and they make BSKL what it is...A big family.

My children have had a wonderful 6 years at BSKL. The campus and facilities are excellent, as are the extracurricular activities that are normally offered (pre pandemic). Both kids have enjoyed participating in various sporting events over the years, and my youngest son loved making it to the final of The Great BSKL bake-off! As well as providing the kids with an excellent education, the teachers have also managed to produce some fabulous theatre productions. We have always felt very welcome and love the community spirit at BSKL!

My son has been attending BSKL for 2 years now and we love it. The teaching staff is attentive and engaging and make time during lessons to work individually with students. During virtual schooling my son stayed interested in his lessons and his teachers reached out to check on him outside of classes as well. As soon as he was able to go back in person, he's been even happier. The opportunities for primary students to engage in STEAM activities, music and drama lessons, swimming lessons, etc are far above our expectations.

Fell in love the first time we visited there. Glad our kids got in and they’re very happy at school. A truly gem in KL.

(British International is fairly good.) I strongly would NOT recommend Havil International School as their academic system is AOP which is not internationally recognised and not in depth. Also, it lack of co-curricular activities and their fees are unnecessary very expensive which doesn't suit their lack of facilities. It also have a bad discipline record. Parents and Expats can come to see it for yourselves in Havil International School at Brickfields, KL.
