Founded in 2007, The British School of Nanjing is now home to more than 450 students from over 30 countries.

From our youngest learners in nursery and reception to our A-level students, we inspire every child to achieve more than they ever thought possible. We’ve always done this in small class sizes with a low student-teacher ratio, ensuring each child gets the support they need to thrive.

Now in our 18th year, our students continue to raise the bar through their outstanding academic achievements. 2024 was the 10th consecutive year our IGCSE and A-level students scored significantly higher than the UK average. One of our students achieved the highest score in China in his A-level biology exam, too, which is an extraordinary accomplishment.
