Travelling the city of Beirut, Lebanon is easy because of the cheap and extensive public transport system. There are many operating buses in Beirut (companies), such as the Lebanese Commuting Company (LCC) and OCFTC, all using a variety of buses –from large coaches, average-sized minibusses and minivans.
Buses in Beirut are connected to other cities in Lebanon and some cities in Syria. Buses for Syria leave from Charles Helou Station and Dora, while buses to Beqa’a leave from Cola bus station.
